Mrs. Mary Harriet Harriman, 82, of 2815 South street, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Coyner, on R. 8, southwest of the city, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. She had been ill six weeks. Born in a log cabin south of New Richmond, she was married in 1891 to Stephen P. Harriman, who died in 1933. A charter member of the New Richmond Christian church, she lived in Lafayette 27 years. Survivors besides Mrs. Coyner are three sons, Glenn Harriman, of West Lafayette, Gordon Harriman, of Baytown, Tex., and Newell Harriman, of Galveston, Tex., and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Queer, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Musa Baxter, Lafayette. HARRIMAN, Mrs. Mary Harriet - Resting at the Rogers-Myers funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. Services in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday Rev. Doyle Mullen officiating; interment in New Richmond Cemetery. Survivors include 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
